How does the NFC tag work?
Inside Taggy is a passive NFC chip linked to your pet’s profile. Hold a compatible smartphone near it and a notification appears: tap it to read the profile and contact the owner.
Do I need an app or a subscription?
Whoever finds your pet does not need to install an app. Taggy Web includes an updatable website for €25; the €10 version includes a static PDF. No subscription is included in the current offer.
Is Taggy a GPS tracker?
No. Taggy lets whoever finds your pet open your contact details using the NFC chip; it does not track your pet remotely or transmit their location. It does not replace an identification microchip.
Does it work with every phone?
You need a smartphone with NFC reading enabled and an Internet connection to open the profile. The antenna position varies: try the top or back of your phone. Compatibility depends on the model and settings.
Can I update my phone number?
Yes. If a profile is already linked to your account, sign in and edit it. To update an order or personalised website, message us on Instagram @taggy_pet with your order reference. The link programmed into the NFC chip stays the same.
How much does Taggy cost, and which version should I choose?
The NFC tag with an updatable website costs €25. The NFC tag with a static PDF costs €10. Both include personalisation and a profile with a photo, pet details and contacts. The PDF keeps the details provided when it was prepared and does not update automatically. Delivery costs €5 and is free when the product total after discounts is over €29.
How do ordering and delivery work?
Personalise Taggy, check your basket and enter your delivery details. Bank transfers are verified before production begins. Dispatch takes 5–10 days: we print the tag, programme its NFC chip and build the linked website. For support, message us on Instagram @taggy_pet. Delivery costs €5 and is free when the product total after discounts is over €29.
Can I use it for a cat?
Yes, the profile can also be set up for a cat. Always check that the collar, attachment and tag size are suitable for your pet.
Who can see the profile details?
The public profile information is accessible to anyone who opens its link, including via NFC. Only enter contact details and information you want to make public. You can deactivate the profile from your account.
Does Taggy need charging?
No. The NFC chip is passive and activates when a compatible smartphone is held near it. It has no battery to recharge.
